Description: These palms were grown from open pollinated seed harvested from plants collected from Puerto Purification, Mexico at elevations between 1600 and 4000 ft elevation. So they are very small and very cold hardy. These plants will have some hybridization with Chamaedorea oreophylla coming from Chamaedorea x 'Douglas Delights' growing in the garden, but the influence is hardly noticeable.
